How to create and link wallet
Before joining or using Ventory Marketplace, please read the instructions on creating, connecting and linking your wallet properly to ensure you have the best experience on Ventory Marketplace.
To get started on Ventory Marketplace, the first thing you'll need is to set up a wallet that supports Venom network and Starknet. Wallets are available both on desktop computers and on smartphone devices. You'll need to choose the wallet that fits your needs best.
When you're setting up a wallet, be sure to:

✅ Follow the setup guide carefully.
✅ Safely back up your recovery phrases.
❌ NEVER share your recovery phrases with anyone, under any circumstances.
❌ NEVER input your recovery phrase to a website or app, other than your wallet app.

How to create a Starknet Wallet
You can create an Argent X Wallet or a Braavos Wallet to start trading on Starknet.
How to create an Argent X wallet
Creating an Argent X Starknet wallet is easy. Follow our step-by-step guide, and you’ll be up and running in a few minutes.
Download Argent X on your preferred browser. Argent X support Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Brave.

Step 2: Click "Create a new wallet".
Step 3: Read and accept the disclaimers, then click "Continue".
Step 4: Create a password for your Argent X wallet. Then click "Create Wallet". The best practice for account security is to:
Use a new password
Create a strong password
Write it down somewhere safe
Step 5: Pin the Argent X extension by clicking on the extensions icon (🧩) in the top right corner. Then click the pin icon (📍) next to Argent X.
Once your Argent X extension is pinned, click “Finish”.
We recommend pinning Argent X so that it's easy to access.
Step 6: Open your Argent X wallet by clicking on the Argent X extension in the top right corner.
Click “Show recovery phrase”.
Step 7: Press “Click to reveal recovery phrase”.
Write down your 12-word recovery phrase on a piece of paper.
Make sure that you:
Write your recovery phrase in word order from 1 to 12.
Double-check that you have written your recovery phrase down correctly, in order, and without spelling mistakes.
Do not share your recovery phrase with anyone else. Store it in a safe place.
When you are certain that your recovery phrase is written down correctly, click the grey circle to confirm you've saved it, and click “Done”.

How to create a Braavos wallet
Step 3: Create a Strong Password: As you create your wallet, you’ll be prompted to create a strong password. Ensure it’s secure and unique.
Step 4: Save Seed Phrase: During the process, you will also receive a 12-word recovery phrase. Make sure to securely save your seed phrase in a safe location. This is essential for wallet recovery and security. After this step, your Braavos Wallet and first address have been created.
Step 5: You Are on Mainnet: At this point, you will be informed that you are on the Mainnet. A disclaimer will appear for you to review. Make sure to read it carefully and click “I Understand” to move to the next step.
Step 6: Deposit Funds: Now that your wallet is set up, it’s time to deposit funds into your account.
Step 7: Deploy Your Account: To fully activate your account on-chain, you have two options:
Click the deploy tooltip provided in the interface.
Process any transaction, which will also deploy your account on-chain.
Once the deployment process is complete, your wallet is fully set up and ready for use.
How to create a Venom wallet
Here is a universal step-by-step guide for setting up a new account on Venom Wallet, ensuring it is secured with a seed phrase and password:
Step 1. Open the Venom Wallet extension or application and choose the option "create a new account" under the wallet setup.
Step 2. Review the decentralization policy, and if in agreement, select "I accept.” Step 3. Click the “submit” button.
Step 4. The unique seed phrase will be auto-generated.

Once the seed phrase is generated, it is crucial to keep it in a safe environment and to never share it with anyone or any third parties as it gives access to the funds and information related to your wallet account. Click the "copy" button to transfer the words to your device, and then save your seed phrase by writing it down on a sheet of paper and storing it in a safe location. When finished, select "I wrote it down on paper.”
Step 5. Input the seed phrase words and click "confirm" to verify that you have accurately remembered the unique seed phrase. If you have successfully entered the words, you will proceed to create a password for your wallet.
Step 6. Create a password to secure your wallet transactions. The password must be at least 8 characters long and include a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
Step 7. Confirm your password by entering it twice and pressing the "create a wallet" button. This will complete the setup process of your new account on Venom Wallet.

To ensure an additional backup of the seed phrase, you can backup the seed phrase on your PC by using the Venom Wallet extension. Click on the profile icon in the upper-right corner and select "manage seeds," then choose "backup all." The extension will automatically generate a .json file on your device. This file can be used to restore the seed phrase at a later time. It's important to remember to store it securely.
Congratulations, you have successfully created a new default wallet account with a secure seed phrase on Venom Wallet! Remember to keep your seed phrase and password safe, and to store the backup of the seed phrase in a secure location.
How to Connect and Link your Wallet to Ventory
Step 1: Choose your network ( Starknet/Venom) and connect your wallet.
Step 2: Click on Settings to access your Profile, Account, and Wallet.
Step 3: Click on Wallet section to link both of your wallets. This will ensure that your points from Starknet and Venom are counted while joining our "Airdrop xVEN seasonal quest" or other events on Ventory.
Step 4: Link both your Venom/Starknet Wallet and start using Ventory Marketplace as well as joining in our event!
