Collection Verification

Collections are verified on Ventory to signal genuine versions of collections that you may be looking for. Think of Twitter golden check mark or the ID cards/passport. There is no check mark for unverified collection on Ventory.

As Ventory will be open source in the future, scammers and bad actors may create fake versions of collections to trick users into purchasing or trading NFTs.

The verification mark on Ventory helps avoid these cases. Initially, all collections listed will be verified as they will have to undergo a due dilligence process to be listed on the marketplace.
